exactly. my last PC was 10 year old, just keep updating until it become a point i would have need to upgrade the motherboard.

my current one was purchased Oct. 2008 and is still running fine.

If you are paying monthly then you may have taken out a "loan" through a third party, which is why they can't cancel it. Check your paperwork.

You have 2 option; accept the loss and move on. Next PC get a free antivirus or

accept the help that is being offered freely and keep your existing machine running for years.
