Experian not responding to letters or emails

Experian are the most difficult of the CRA's. I obtained my report which still had my IVA showing. The start date was clearly 29/06/07 so when I ordered my report mid July it should have been removed. I then sent a copy of my completion certificate with a letter asking them to remove it from my record, no response was received so I sent an email, no response received to this either. I ordered another report assuming they had just failed to tell me my records had been updated but it was still showing. Still no response to my letter or email. I then resent the paperwork with a copy of the original paperwork I had sent them. I'm not holding my breath they will respond this time either. It is just frustrating as they can see it's expired so are obviously quite happy to hold incorrect, and damaging, information for as long as they see fit! I am running out of ideas........

Sorry for the delay. We do reply to all queries but I'm very happy to chase this up for you if you drop your details into an email so we can investigate. Thanks.

Hi James, thanks for responding. I actually received an email from experian yesterday afternoon advising they have updated my records and a letter was sent to me on 7th August confirming this. I have not received this letter so emailed back asking for a copy of the letter and I now have to wait another 28 days for them to deal with my latest email. I will try the link you have given me as all I need is a copy of the letter so hopefully it won't take 28 days to send it.0
