Am thinking of buying a new zafira tourer 2.0 diesel. May go for the SRi trim. Have not decided between the manual or auto box.

Does anyone have a tourer? What are their views?
Problem with having access to internet is that i get asked by many to solve their problems :( Well at least i learn something on the way :D

There's a disclaimer sticker on the brochure saying that the near side rear seat is only suitable for people under 150cm - worth bearing in mind if you plan to carry full sized adults.

I really hate zafiras. Woeful cars.

Consider instead the Ford Galaxy or S-Max. They get everything right the Zafira gets wrong.

I would go for an S -max better cars to drive as well. Nothing wrong with the zafira as such but I certaintly cant see why its sold in such big numbers in the Uk, maybe I'm missing something. The zafira-tourer is quite new so there probably wouldnt be much feedback here on it.

I'd be very concerned to find a Zafira Tourer with that old engine in it.

I hired one once. So happy to return it!
  • Total pants, I spent years crammed into my parent's Zafira. Finally they scrapped the blasted thing and replaced it with a far superior S-Max.

Erm, reality check. The Zafira Tourer was only recently launched. Unlikely many of you have driven or hired one let alone one with a DTi engine.

The Zafira B is marmite but fantastic value for a family car for about £11k new/nearly new with a 100k/Lifetime warranty.

Fun fact: GM have to find £1000 "value" in every car they sell to pay it's pension liability in the US.

That's £1000 per car less "value" you get as a customer, compared to a rivals car. Having driven most of the recent range, I'm surprised it's as little as £1000.

And the figures for Ford etc are?

Or is this just something to slag off Vauxhalls?
