Anyone had experience of cashyourgold.co.uk ??

After looking at different sites these seemed to offer the best price , however once i sent off the gold the price they offered was much lower (the price on the website was for refined gold apparently ). I requested my items to be sent back - they confirmed they have done this - even gave a tracking number - this does not work. I have emailed them - no response and when i called them you can only leave a message , i did this but not received any call back. Has anyone had a positive story from them on returns and i am worried my gold is now lost?? Thanks

Have you tried a google search for "cash-your-gold.co.uk"? Very few positive reviews as far as I can see.

used them once for an old braclet which looked like it fell out of Mr T's collection. Got an estimated quote online then sent the item and received a message to contact them to discuss the item.
The offer they made was more than I was expecting and i took it and received a payment within 2 day. All in all, it was a week from me sending the item to them paying me. No problems but I may very well be part of a minority.

I sadly think that you are in a minority on this. cash-your-gold.co.uk is run by the same people who run the britishgoldrefinery.co.uk A truly notorious cash for gold site that had a long running thread on this site but is has now been mysteriously removed

Sadly I know think you will get your money back

I have sent my gold off to another cash for gold company. I am not going to name them now but I will report back with the result. This will be the really honest and true review - just doing my bit as part of the MSE community.

I have today received my gold back, but i did look on the internet yeaterday and found a number of unhappy customers and also a report on them by the Daily Mirror. Thankfully the gold came back but their customer service is alot to be desired !! 5 emails with no response. Their phone only goes to voicemail and i left several messages and did not receive a call back. The email i had from them said the gold was being sent back last Wednesday but t he post mark on it was only yesterday so thats odd.

I would say to anyone else to be wary of them !! Thanks for the responses

I've only done this sort of thing once before and it was with the site recommended on mse.

If I had enough gold to do it again I would use them without hesitation
