Downloading Ipad videos

For the first time I have downloaded all of the photos and videos on my Ipad to my desktop PC - running Windows 7.

They all downloaded OK but some - not all - of the videos are upside down. Similar with the photos.

I can rotate the photos by right clicking image, but not the videos.

Obviously the videos play correctly on the IPad.

Can anyone please explain how to correct the 'upside down' videos?

Also why would some be 'upside down' when I always take photos/videos with the Ipad in the same orientation?

That's apple for you, it is an issue with the ios. Bet the ones upside down, had the ipad orientated the opposite way to the ones that are ok (ie, turned ipad clockwise or anti clockwise to correct video)

Thanks a lot.

I started to follow the demo but my copy of Windows Movie Maker is different, and easier. All I needed to do was import the 'upside down' video and 'select all.'

There was no provision to 'combine' as stated in demo, but you could rotate 180 degrees and simply save the video.
