Those we love don't go away,They walk beside us every day,Unseen, unheard, but always near,
Still loved, still missed and very dear
Our thoughts are ever with you,Though you have passed away. And those who loved you dearly,
Are thinking of you today.
Still loved, still missed and very dear
Our thoughts are ever with you,Though you have passed away. And those who loved you dearly,
Are thinking of you today.

They should be fine in hold luggage.
The problem I had was with shampoo bottle bursting covering my shirts whilst we went to Florida with Virgin a few years ago.
At least they were clean and smelled nice when we got there!0 -

I have a tip to avoid this: when you're packing open the bottle and squeeze some air out, put the lid back on tightly whilst still squeezing. You'll end up with a bottle with a slight vacuum. This also allows for air expansion in the aircraft. Since doing this I've had no spills or leaksThe problem I had was with shampoo bottle bursting covering my shirts whilst we went to Florida with Virgin a few years ago.

I think rough handling is more likely to cause a split than pressurisation
Aerosols in hold baggage and hand luggage (100ml liquid restrictions permitting) are fine0 -
Aerosols in checked in baggage are allowed within reason, but not in hand luggage unless smaller than 100ml. Also a good tip with shampoo`s and shower gels etc is to fasten the lids down with gaffer tape or similar and wrap in old plastic bags to help avoid leakage.0

The bottle of shampoo was in a plastic bag - but of course all bags have holes in them so that you can't suffocate yourself!0

I doubt it: most people pack their bottles in the middle of their suitcase surrounded by soft clothes, this cushions the bottles so the suitcase can be thrown around and the bottles are very unlikely to be punctured. When bottles split its usually a fault in the plastic, or if the lid leaks/comes off then its usually that the air inside has expanded and forced the lid open. There's always the possibility that if its a non-rigid suitcase that its been squashed and the bottle has been squeezed.WiseInvestor wrote: »I think rough handling is more likely to cause a split than pressurisation
All cases are handled roughly at airports: the machinery used doesn't allow for gentle handling, and where humans are involved there are also time pressures so its sadly inevitable that our cases are going to be thrown around yet not all our bottles break.0
