MSE site loading problems

Since the move to the new servers a couple of weeks ago I seem to have problems accessing MSE at some times of the day, particularly first thing in the morning. The site will hang loading before anything visible appears on my screen. Later in the day it loads properly and everything works as it should - sometimes it has recognised my earlier attempt to visit (from the 'last visited' line), sometimes not. Using Opera (12.16, the real Opera, not the new fangled v15+ Chrome clone).

I have seen no comments about this here or elsewhere so wonder whether it is a specific routing issue here - I am on O2 broadband, in southern England (the BE network), which is not unknown in having routing problems from time to time. Maybe the routing to the new server is different from the old one, that never caused any problems.

So have others noticed this problem, specifically if you are on O2 or BE broadband?
