Finding a gardener?

Hi everyone.
I have a prepared area which I would like turfing but , I am having problems finding a gardener to do it, cannot afford landscaper.

No, I cannot DIY as I am aged lady.

Does anyone have any idea how much it would cost, the area is approx 3 x 6 mtrs?
If it is cheaper ,I could put membrane and stones down with pots of various plants.

Any ideas and help?

Hi Lady Renegade..... The turf suppliers will do it or know someone.

Your looking at up to a £100 for the turf depending on type/supplier which I would have delivered the morning your having the furf layed out. Gardener in Leicester should be £12 - £15 /hr
I work in Leicester as a gardener funnily enough;)

Where did you have him last?

Seriously though, as suggested the supplier of the turf will have someone they use regularly, just ask them and they'll probably arrange for them to pop round and give you a quote
