Experian Linked Addresses

My Experian report shows 42 linked addresses!!
There are actually only 4 but they are repeatedly duplicated to make up 42 entries.
Should I be concerned about this? Would this be viewed negatively by lenders? Would Experian update it if requested?

I would think that as long as all the addresses are listed correctly, no postcode errors etc, and you have genuinely resided at all of them, there shouldn't be an issue for lenders.
Wife and myself did have an incorrect linked address on our Experian reports ( one digit in postcode was wrong, which caused a spurious address to be listed when they uploaded address using our house number )
We wrote to the lender, and also opened query ticket with Experian, and the incorrect addresses were removed within a couple of weeks.0 -
When a lender views your credit report they only see the linked address once in any given address format.Im an ex employee RBS GroupHowever Any Opinion Given On MSE Is Strictly My Own0

I have a similar situation on the linked addresses on my Experian report, 23 entries for 3 different addresses. When I queried this with Experian I was told it wasn't detrimental because, as stclair says, what is reported on a search by a financial institution is different to what you see.
The reason it occurs seems to be to do with the way they run the report you see using each of your previous addresses against each of your accounts, that leads to the plethora of entries. Old addresses should drop off your Experian account/report 8 years after you have no longer lived there, so just monitor that and watch it tidy itself up over time!0 -
There's no impact on your credit rating, so no need to worry. I think we only used to show each address once, but for data protection reasons we now show you all of them. As stclair says, lenders only see each different address once and the links themselves are not used to calculate credit scores anyway.
