Kitchen lights

Good Morning
Our kitchen has a small attached utility room and the wife would like
a four strip light in the kitchen and a matching two strip light in the utility end, would prefer Led or halogen.
But cannot find any decent ones.
Can anyone steer me in the right directions please and is there anything I should avoid or look out for?
Thanks

Do you mean two/three individual spots or strips?
What sort of illumination are you after? Decorative or functional i.e. being able to prepare food with just those lights on?If my post hasn't helped you, then don't click the 'Thanks' button!

HI kitchen lighting is a funny one the best light for food prep would be a 5ft fluorescent with a prismatic diffuser however i would say that fluorescents are unsightly and we often remove them rather than fit them. in my own home i use cfl (compact fluorescent) down lights directly above worktops so they are above and in front of me when im working, in adition to these i have under cabinet fluorescent T5 fittings. color is the key cool white or daylight really helps. hope this helps0
