OWL + Monitor or British Gas Monitor

I am going to be joining the fixed price promise tariff for dual fuel by British Gas tomorrow and I know they will install a smart meter for me.

Just thinking - Will there's be sufficient or should I still purchase an Owl+ or equivalent?

    Dont waste your money on any monitors Chris1012. BGs smart meter monitor is far superior in every way to all the energy monitors. Price per hour displayed along with kwhr per hour/day/month and lots of other info, plus you wont have us banging on your door at 8 .0 am much ( maybe once a year at moment )
