Hsbc no record found

Hi All,

I sent the form off to my bank from this site and put my account number of the loan and ppi form that they gave me when I took the loan out.

They got back to me and said they could not find that account any where on their records as they only keep them 6 years.

Unless I can send the PPI form and the bank payments to the PPI
They will close the case.

I have the original loan and PPI documents but not the bank statements.

What should I do now please?

Supply bank with copies of what you have.

Send a SAR and £10 to your bank to see if they can give you the statements [front page sticky template]. or if you bank online, they can go back 10 years.

It's a different bank that has the statements yes?

Hi Thank you for getting back to me.

No it is the same bank that had the statements, I have never had another bank.

This was taken out in 1990 and I have all the original documents.

Hi thank you for getting back to me.

I will send them copies of the loan and the PPI which was taken out in 1990.

They said that the PPI would cover me if I had no work coming in or if I was taken ill, Also they said I had to have it as I was Self Employed to cover the loan.
