Questionaire and refinanced loans

Options
Hiya

I've have received copies of my loan statements including the PPI amounts.

I have refinanced my loan 3 times - the first 2 loans including PPI, I had the sense to cancel on the final re loan.

Can you tell me when I complete the questionaire to send to my lender, do I need to complete one form per loan agreement or will one questionaire be sufficient if I complete all loan accounts on there?

Thanks in advance for any help given

one will do and you can complain about single premium on a consolidated chain of loans.

  • I have 3 different account numbers.

The first shows the first Loan Protection Insurance Loan advance of £2226.25.

The end of that account statement shows Rebate of loan protection of £614.19.

The refinanced account opens with Loan Protection Insurance Loan advance of £3017.86.

This account was then refinanced - no rebate on this account.

The final and current (10 months left to pay) shows rebate of loan protection insurance £404.05.

Is it still ok for just the one letter? Do I put on the loan numbers under the "Policy number of the account you are complaining about"?

Sorry for the questions - slightly confused but want to get this correct.

On the first refinanced account I was told that I wouldn't get a decent rate if I didn't accept the insurance - do I add this bit in the comments at the bottom? I remember her looking a the PC and making comments that the best she could do for me without the insurance was likely to be around 14%!!!

    Put it all in.
You were never told that the PPI amount would be added to the loan total and interest charged on it, nor that if you had cancelled it you would only have received a rebate for the PPI, not for th einterest. And that by consolidating, the PPI interest carried over onto the next loan and was still on the last one even though you cancelled it.
Yes, the loan numbers in section C ' what was the account number' box. You can put 'I don't know' in the policy number box.
