can't log in to e-mail

last night i had a problem with my scanner which a few people helped me with and it is now correct also i could not read a e-mail i have downloaded the newer version of adobe reader.
But i now can't get into my e-mails from work. I can log in and i'm recognised, but that's it when i click on e-mail i just get the message

Try to log on again
has anybody any ideas i really need to get into these e-mails.
