If I was you, I would put together a letter outlining the issues with the wall and direct it to the seller - it will be difficult to get anything done, but it would also be an advantage to have everything documented just in case of any future issues - the site manager will have no interest in changing anything, the only person that will want to keep you sweet is the guy getting your money!!This is a system account and does not represent a real person. I agree and second this.
OP should carefully consider their position with regard to the warranty provider. For example, the NHBC clause was (I have not checked in recent years looking for "smallprint") if you purchased a new home knowing there were defective items these were automatically excluded from any warranty - hence NHBC protection. Basically, the warranty only covers unseen, or unforeseen, defects.
The example used by NHBC was buying a new home when only part of the roof had been tiled. The balance was excluded from the warranty and became the customers expense to complete the building work.
It really is a case of buyer beware with a new home. There is an element of "spin" with those who say you are protected.0 -

Well exactly, so withhold something if the issue isn't addressed.
And again, the black bit, "what can they change?"
They could acid wash the elevation, will make the mortar similar, but the bricks remain a mismatch.
I honestly believe you need to negotiate some trade off, I know they won't admit to a problem, but may be able to squeeze you a few freebies inI like the thanks button, but ,please, an I agree button.
Will the grammar and spelling police respect I do make grammatical errors, and have carp spelling, no need to remind me.;)
Always expect the unexpected:eek:and then you won't be dissapointed0 -

Well at least when that garage is built, it won't be as visible.
The brick doctor eh? makes him sound very superior:D:D
Sounds like they will do a tinting exercise as was suggested earlier, I've never seen the results myself but I have read it can be very effective.I like the thanks button, but ,please, an I agree button.

Brick tinting if done properly along with retinting the mortar is very effective (we had some done on a job when the supplied bricks were the 'wrong' colour). I'm not sure about tinting in the long term but the brickwork will weather over time so may look better / ok.0

Just for referecnce, i saw a NHBC checklist online on their site, and one of the points was
"Is all brick work and motar the same colour" So you should be able to use that in your toolbox to get it sorted.0 -
