Credit Expert web monitoring alert

Hi,

I have a question about my experian web alert which I received today.

I got an email from them to say that my date of birth and mothers maiden name is being held on the general register office database, and to log in to see the full details.

It's funny how I received this today as I cancelled my free trial and it ended today so I can't even log in to check the alert as I will be charged 15.99 to renew the membership.

Is this anything to worry about? Who can see these details on the GRO?

Thanks

If your membership ends today I think it should still be active until midnight, hence the alerts still coming through. Have you tried logging in? Alternative you may be able to find the details via the GRO website.

I am an official company representative of Experian. MSE has given permission for me to post in response to queries about the company, so that I can help solve issues. You can see my name on the companies with permission to post list. I am not allowed to tout for business at all. Thanks for your reply James.

I tried logging in but it asked me to renew my membership and was asking for card details for payment.

I have checked the GRO website it I don't think it seems much to be worried about to be honest.

    Thanks again
