Credit Card protection

I wanted to know if I could claim against my credit card provider for a cancelled holiday where I had to change my flights. I booked and paid for my flights with my Virgin Credit Card earlier in the year and now had to pay a further £400:00 to change the flights.
Would I be covered as I purchased the original flights via my credit card?

Why?

The credit card company and the vendor is jointly liable. It doesnt give you any additional rights just another company you can sue for breach of contract etc which is most useful if the vendor ceases trading.

Unless the fee originated from the vendors errors and isnt covered by their terms then no you cannot claim

Simple answer is. NO. Given what you have posted.

It does not cover change of mind.


Now WHY did you have to change the flights. That may make a difference.

What part of their contractual obligations have the holiday company or airline or charter company not met?
