Perhaps Experian are in it for the long haul.

Over in the USA (as has been said) you DO have a one size fits all credit score. Maybe Experian are trying to get the same thing to happen in the UK?

By continually talking up their 'scores' and making people believe that the Experian score is a credit score (seems to be working ), their magic numbers could become a de facto one size fits all credit score for the UK.
