I started a claim for PPI last year through PPI claim back (Investor Compensation).
It has been ongoing for nearly a year and i have received some money for a loan i took out when i was 18.
However i have received letters saying that they were unable to proceed with a few of my claims because i had not returned the complete Financial Ombudsman Service forms and had missed the boat for some of these claims.
As they are saying it's my fault they say that are going to charge me an admin fee. However i have never received any forms.
With this in mind will i still have to pay an admin charge as the fault would technicaly be with the Royal Mail loosing them thats if they have sent out the forms at all??

The regulated complaints process does not allow charges to be made. However, if you are requesting work that is not linked to the complaint then they can charge for that. i.e. if you are asking for copy documents.I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA). The comments I make are just my opinion and are for discussion purposes only. They are not financial advice and you should not treat them as such. If you feel an area discussed may be relevant to you, then please seek advice from an Independent Financial Adviser local to you.0

Are they continuing with the claims or are they closing your file, how much is the fee they asking for and how did you miss the boat?0

There is one claim ongoing with the FOS at the moment.
They have closed the other claims as you apparantly have a certian amount of time to lodge a complaint with the FOS after your claim with the bank has been rejected which is where i have "missed the boat".
As i mentioned before they are claiming that it is my fault for not returning the FOS complaint form when i never received them in the first place.

If any of your complaints were with Lloyds, it's possible you can complain again.
However, I'd get rid of your claims company first.Non me fac calcitrare tuum culi0 -
The claims co are "working for you" but let the 6 months pass for taking this to FOS they are not earning their money are they?.
Make sure the contract is ended with the claims co, I would report them to the MOJ as well, they should have been dealing with this claim and chasing you for the FOS paperwork, I don't believe they have earned the fee they are asking you for.
