Lightbulbs and painting?

Hello everyone.
I posted a while ago about some proposed deductions from my deposit.
I've managed to have the cleaning reduced from £125 to £90 (which is still extortionate for wiping away a few cobwebs) and the painting over pin mould removed. They'd like to charge me £33 for filling and painting two dents in a door, one of which I have a photo of being there when we moved in. The original painting cost was £49.50.
I've spoken to shelter etc and they've advised I can't be charged for my specific mould as it wasn't a result of our negligence. Seeings as some of the cleaning cost accounts for this can I ask for it to be reduced? The other costs are literally a mark on the wall, some dust and Descaling a sink.
Also, who will mydeposits find in favour of regarding lightbulbs? Have done a lot of research on this but can't find a definitive answer.
Thanks all

What exactly is the problem with the light bulbs? I would expect that if there were light bulbs when you moved in, there should be light bulbs when you move out.
Three dont work, I don't recall one ever working. Just wondering whether it classes as fair wear and tear, if not then fair dos. But every penny matters.0 -
Very much doubt if they will find in your favour regarding light bulbs.
Light bulb replacement is mentioned as one of things which marks out tenant-like behaviour in a famous judgment on landlord and tenant law.
You are expected to treat the property with care, keep it clean, and replace the light bulbs.0 -

Yep, fine, thanks.
It's just they're taking us for a massive ride so as I said, every penny counts :T0 -
I can't believe anyone is prepared to fight over lightbulbs whatever the circumstances!0

3 light bulbs cost about £1.20 if you had put them in you would be fighting about less.
Sorry but if I had tenants who left without leaving workable light bulbs I would begin to think what else had they not done. However I would not seek to deduct the cost from their deposit.0 -

It is more than 3.60, but I was just wondering.
I didn't realise I'd left the bulbs out.0 -
I must say i read this with interest as I am due to leave soon and when I moved in to my currental rental there was hardly a bulb in the place and I had to replace 17 that were just empty sockets! I think I iwll show good will but it is certainly very annoying especially as the wall in my kids room was flaking with the damp and the paper was peeling which my boys have picked at (got to love toddlers) and no doubt they will try to bill me for it!
