CMOS Checksum error?

Hi, I get the above message everytime I turn the computer on, then I press F1 to continue.

Also when I log in to my hotmail I get a prompted message saying the certificate has expired. Are they both related?

How do I sort this out please?

I posted a new thread that my time and date on the computer has been wrong for a while and I was advised that I need a new battery for the motherboard I think.

Which I'll get this monday. Thanks
