On XP, hovering the mouse over a streaming video would usually produce an option to download it, but it hasn't done that for months now. Has that facility been withdrawn? I can't see any option in RP preferences.

I've found this utube video. You have to transfer the browser into RP, but it's only the very occasional video I need to save so not too much hassle.0

Whoa, RealPlayer - haven't heard that name in a while!
Unless you're playing files in encoded in Real format (pretty much nothing for the past 10 years), you're not limited to Real Player. There are plenty of other options to try, you might find VLC would be a good replacement.0 -
OK I've downloaded from FileHippo and installed VLC, opened the capture device, selected 'desktop' but then pressed 'play' accidentally. The windows started reproducing themselves once per second, in ever decreasing size...

Any suggestions, please?!0
