My ipad has been hacked

I was on a chat site and all of a sudden the conversations started appearing on the screen from my ID like I had wrote it, but I didn't and it was like someone was typing on my behalf. And after it wrote my name in the conversation on the chat site...how is this possible??
I've noticed this has happened a few times every time I go on the chat site. But today my name was written and I'm really baffled by it and scared

Rest assured your iPad is safe and not been hacked.
It looks like someone has gained access into your chat site account, which means
1) you have given someone your password
2) you have used a simple common password that can easily be found.
I suggest you login to your chat site account and change you password to a strong password.0 -
That Op comment would be a classic statement from Matt Lucas, to David Walliams.

I don't have a user account for the chat site I just log on as guest and that doesn't require any personal details. I'm shocked that this is happening I'm the only one with access to my Internet connection at home.0

Hi,
Regarding the above, how can someone be using your username/ID when you say you don't have an account/password.
If you can just type in a random and an anonymous 'name' every time you go to the chat site then whats to stop someone else using the same name?
Was the content malicious or derogatory or was it someone just typing their own opinions in a general discussion?
What site is it?0 -
when you go into this chat room, ur guest name is automatically assigned to you for example guest1, there is no way u can request the same guest id as another user. so this is why i am surprised that someone had same guest id as me typing on my behalf and typing my name...its hard to believe this could happen on an ipad..but not sure what to do, if my network or router has been compromised...could the chat site administrator have access to my ipad.0

This sounds like poor chat room software and nothing to do with your ipad.
I'd avoid that chat site TBH. What do you get out of it if users have no ID and no persistence?

Why not sign-up with a real username and password. Just a suggestion?0
