I didn't attend but I attended The Great British Craft Festival this weekend. I had my first exhibition stand and I was completely in awe of all the other suppliers there especially as a lot of them have been featured on QVC and creat and craft !!
Was the NEC exhibition just quilting or all kinds of sewing?V 12500 B 8300 N 1900 Oct £51/£1550 -
One of my friends went and bought a long arm quilter for a really good price, she had been humming and ahhing abut this purchase for two years, she got £350.00 off the purchase price by purchasing it at the NEC; has to wait for a month for it to be delivered as it is coming in from the states, It is free standing not a table top model. of course yesterday she just had tell us about it...she can be soo cruel.0

Agreed Battleaxe44 - how lucky she is - I'd need a new home to fit one in. I just keep trying to convince myself I prefer hand quilting :rotfl:
Dizzytina - The Quilting Exhibition at the NEC is quilting - both traditional and contemporary from around the world. The stalls are 95% quilting related too
Hope your stall did well at the festival. What do you make and sell?0 -

Oooo maybe one to pencil in for the future then. Quilting is on my looooong list if thinks to try
My stall did really well thanks. It was my first trade event so I was really nervous. I make personalised wooden and textile items ranging from memory boxes and photo frames to iPad cases and tote bags but I also sell craft supplies too (which is what I was selling on my stand) such as ribbons, buttons and haberdashery items.V 12500 B 8300 N 1900 Oct £51/£1550 -
