Pre-Orders

In July I pre-ordered some spoken word CD's from a company which are not going to be available until January 2014. All the pre-orders are paid for in advance - I used my Mastercard to pay for them.
This weekend they are running a promotion with a 15% discount off this range - it includes past releases as well as all advance pre-orders
Whilst this is obviously good for new orders I feel more than a bit annoyed to not be able to have the discount. Am I entitled to ring up and ask for the discount in the form of a refund or credit note?
Is this the risk you take when pre-ordering and paying in advance?
At the moment I feel like I either want the discount or failing that I want to cancel but I don't know if I can.

It's a risk you take as with any purchase.
If they increased in cost, would you be happy to pay the difference?0 -
How did you order them? Instore or online, if online then cancel under DSR and re order.0
