free item after pruchased

Hi,

If I went into a flower shop and brought a bouquet but was entitled to a free one but did not know about it, when another customer mentioned it, would I be entitled to go back to the counter and request my free bouquet?

Yes, of course you are entitled to go back to the counter and request a free bouquet.

Whether you will get a free bouquet or not is up to the retailer.

Depends if its linked on their till

If its linked on their till they may not be able to put a free bouquet through on its one as a free purchase.
Depends if you left the shop before being informed.
Once you have left their premises you could have waived your rights to the free bouquet.

All depending on the shop policy for the offer and how long it was since you left the shop.

example: I had a case at one of the country shows i trade at as i had fishing nets at buy 1 get 1 free. A young lad comes up and buys 1 i stated its BOGOF and he says I only want 1 so he took 1 after paying about an hour later he comes back asking if he can have the free 1 now. well my answer was NO as it was only a offer at time of purchase. He goes off and minutes later returns with his father and after explaining to his father the lad got a clip for not getting the 2 when offered.

    Isn't that what I said?

Good to have the confirmation though. ;)
