Hi I was wondering if you could help me, I to had a loan with vivid loans back in the late 90`s (around 98/99) but am struggling to find out who they are. The FOS have told me that the company Clydesdale/Yorkshire Bank have done a research and have told me they have no records at all of my loan (even going back to the 90`s), but they did mention the reference number from my direct debit was a digit to long because Clydesdale/Yorkshire Bank only deal with 10 digit references numbers and mine is 11, so am beginning to think if it was with somebody else. If you have any info regarding Vivid loans could you please reply, many thanks

For loans dating back to the 1990s FOS only has jurisdiction over firms that were members of the Insurance, Banking or Building Societies Ombudsman Schemes as far as PPI is concerned.
That really means a claim against anybody else will be a non-starter.0 -
