This is maybe a long shot, but has anybody on here recently bought one of these laptops? Amazon appears to be one of the few sellers.

I bought the i3 model and although I'm pleased with it, particularly the matt screen, I'm having problems with the scrolling function on the mouse pad. It's very slow and I mostly have to exert some pressure on the pad for it to move, which makes the situation worse as the pad has a rough/dimpled surface.

So the $64000 question: has anybody else bought one of these laptops and are you having similar issues? I'm really considering returning purely for this reason!

Thanks in anticipation.
David.

Control Panel > Mouse, yes. Although I'm not too sure whether I fully understand all the jargon there.

if it's a synaptics, control panel, mouse, device settings, settings, pointing, sensitivity, touch sensitivity might make it better - (why do something in one click when you can do it in 7 dear gui inventor!).

Personally I turn the scroll function off as it's annoying, and those dimpled touchpads even more so.

I have one of these laptops but use a mouse-I've always hated using the mouse pad on any laptop. The way I scroll down using the mouse pad is to hold the left mouse pad button and move the scroll bar down using the dimpled bit. My daughter says it doesn't work the same as a "normal" mouse pad. Sorry if that doesn't help much! It's a brilliant laptop by the way, I've had mine for about 6 months and I love it.
