Honda accord light adjuster

Hi,
I wonder if any of you kind people could give me some advice.
Our Honda Accord failed its MOT due to the light adjuster. They have quoted us £250 to repair. Do you think this is to replace the whole headlight or is the adjuster a separate part?
If its the head light would it be worth finding a second hand one as £250 seems a lot to me.
Thanks

It does seem like a lot. Is this price from the dealer or an independent garage? Ask what is involved. For that price, a full explanation should be offered. I would shop around.

That said, it can take a lot of time and skill to replace the headlamp unit on some modern cars. If you have to remove and reinstall the bumper and grill as well, it might take hours.

With specific questions like this, it is worth going to the owners forums.

Probably a seperate part but they're one of those things that are specialist. They're basically an overgrown servo but they're specialist.
