Cheap bus tickets around North Wales

Hello,
We are off to Wales in a couple of weeks, and don't have a car!
Does anyone know anything about buses, in and around Rhyl/Prestatyn, becasue when I looked on the net, I found a family day saver costs £14!
It is £7 here in Manchester.
We would like to use the buses everyday, for trips and shopping, and need to find a cheap way around, if possible!
Does anyone know which companies run there?

I have noticed buses in Manchester are cheaper than in Leeds. Rhyl and Prestatyn are holidaying destinations so £14 probably isn't too bad.
