Paint on floor

Any idea how to get paint off a kitchen floor please? I have tried white spirits and my steam cleaner to no avail. problem is, I dropped a tin of paint a while back and I thought I had got it up. I have just sold a huge welsh dresser and there is a rock solid pool of paint underneath it. It is stuck like glue to my floor. The floor is one of those very hard wearing floors that look like they have tiny bits of stones in, if that makes any sense.

Or those 'paint on strip off' products that they advertise on the shopping channels?
Sorry, don't know what they're called - and they may be terrible."I'm ready for my close-up Mr. DeMille...."0 -
