Tea always tastes better out of bone china cups and it keeps hotter.

Talking of china tea cups, Artha was collecting them for the wedding.

I wonder how it all went...

    You around Artha.......?

Maybe snobbery wasn't the right word. I would always go for glass bottles over any other type aswell.

Oh yes, as a child, full fat Coca-Cola from a glass bottle drunk through a straw in a beer garden :T :T

we require a full report mind!

Ok so im still not drinking it! Still contains aspartame!

Although i did find this article too jst not for the uk!

Sodium cyclamate, a relatively inexpensive artificial sweetener banned by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) since 1969 and once believed to be a carcinogen, has been used in the Coca-Cola Zero versions produced in Germany, Italy, Spain, Portugal, Venezuela, Chile, and some Central American countries. It was used for a time in Mexico, before a consumer campaign led to its removal from the drink in 2008.[5] In June 2009 Venezuela ordered Coca-Cola to withdraw its Coca-Cola Zero product, as it contained more than the legal levels of sodium cyclamate.[5]

Speaking of M comps, and for those who far away from a T or don't like the Cokes, the Tizer 2L is now 'any 2 for £1.50' in M. In a way, now glad I didn't find it in my T store as now would have lost another 15p:) compared to going Avs M.

Price set-up in A has changed today - multibuy has been removed. However my store on the ball I'm afraid - was doing two other shops vs other rivals, so didn't end up doing a further shop vs M with more Mullers in 5. Our fridge packed at the moment with them even before any more.

But - :(:(:(:(my Tvs A shop was even more of a disaster. Sadly the product I bought that was 48p more expensive in A:eek: - it was some Horlicks - I thought wasn't stocked in A (thanks msm:() and, although SP Choc drinks etc. are cheaper (on the right comps;) i.e. do not try vs M as M I'm pretty sure has been significantly more expensive for months on their version, think it's vs T, but recheck as that may be old info.), I wanted Horlicks and not the small sachets that are more expensive for the amount you get.

So - I bought a 300g one, at £1.50 reset to £1.98:(:( - only for M to go on offer at £2.13 (or something near to that - this from memory, going to go and check what I've written) on its 500g Horlicks:(:(:(.

So, even more expensive and lost out a lot on that. So now £1.98 divided by 300 times 500 less £2.13 lost at T!! My £10 off (already lost over £3 I think from my previous calculation) now even less - you know:(:( - I think this will add in my £10 off going into negative figures:(:(:( at T and costing me more. Quite hopeless at T - I'll go back to A and S I think, as I never lose that much there.:)

Oh - and beware the Heinz Spag Saus that were 5 for £3 in A. (I used Tvs A, just about the only good purchase on there:(.) They are now 98p each in A - so definitely do not buy T (or S) vs A anymore! I doubt you'll see the 5 for £3 (and GC opp.) still in A as they were on the aisle end in my A store.
