Thanks Obama for the ice cream I am now nicely stocked ready for the heat wave0

Oh, and I finally found some 98g packs of Pickled Onion Monster Munch, scanned at £1 not 1p as others reported (admittedly many months ago!).

Good Evening,
Hope you have all managed to get some ice creams.
I have just been sacked by Gapbuster after only completing one job.Plenty more companies though to shop with. I think I was sacked for failing to upload my report the same day, but I could not because the code on the bottom of the paper work would not work.

Good evening.
Or rather not --- I'm joining you all in going "grrrr" again:mad::mad::(:(:(. Back from T (not immediately back as now diverted off into sorting this out and so far without a resolution) and total disaster:(:(:(:(:(.
Expecting a PP to £9.98 and SA gives me the voucher from the cash register and says £6.89:(:(:(.
The shop (which had to be done in a smaller store due to MOC restriction) didn't start off good from the word go anyway. The store had none of the non-comparable staples that I wanted. Nor did they have several other items. I stopped and asked a young girl T employee if they had any of the Tizer (that I had hoped to buy - T £1.04x2 vs A's any 2 for £1.50) - obviously not a popular drink with younger people as she didn't seem to have a clue what I meant. She thought I wanted Appletiser. Then asked what colour the bottle was. Anyway - it wasn't there in any event:(:(.
The items that were still full priced on t.com were checked and scanned at the offer prices:(. So I went to back-up items on those to cover for the difference to A they would have given. No DTD - SEL on another item looked like it'd swapped to a different flavour. I had the other one (that said £1.75) as £1.00 and the £1.00 SEL one as £1.75. Checked it - and it was £1.00. No Aunt Bessie Lemon & Meringue pie either (for TCB). Other items not stocked. Ended up going down to a pair of scissors at 75p (and a very tiny one at that too:() - it was either that or some canned veg. at 2 for 80p (way too expensive compared to SP carrots cans etc.).
One of the items turns out to be on a.com at 48p more expensive:eek: - bloody msm! Another compared at over £1 more expensive than it is on a.com. Plus other matters. Total loss (excluding my 48p mistake) about £2.50.
Add to this, though: another 15p lost (plus a further 8.5p as 10% if that had compared on A vs Morries previous half price offer) on a toothbrush that was one of my reserve items and only used because of the difference (fortunately it compared on that - but would have been cheaper earlier elsewhere, so that's a loss). Plus another 5p lost on getting a milkshake (which failed to compare anyway) vs A rather than a different size vs M and 10% off. 1.7p lost on the water, compared to getting that on Avs S. Lost another 50p on having to go down to getting an Aero Mousse that would have been free with prev. brief price glitch from A. (Although the flavour in T wasn't one of the ones that glitched.)
Total of around £3.20, plus I'd better add on my 48p error. Equals £3.78:eek::eek:. Gained 37 CC points but even if quadrupled up (and it's not actual money you get but often involves spending more, for discount on days out etc.) doesn't seem much to compensate. So my £10 voucher this time was worth just £6.22 (less whatever those CC points are worth, minus the interest free loan they amount to me giving to T for them until they are paid out).
Take off that from any other offset losses arising from T.
Although the items for DTD did not materialise, I felt more comfortable at that, at just paying the 'right' amount, as whenever it needs to go to CS it always results in me losing out more and not gaining anything at all. I hope you can take much more than that £3.78 in DTD from T elsewhere - I certainly stand no hope!:(:(
Shouldda taken the following list (see forthcoming post from me) with me, but forgot/would have taken even more time to print out, to then go and look for DTDs, but didn't have it with me therefore and wouldn't have had any luck if I had. I'm no expert at all in this - just a total uselessness - only time I ever got DTD I put the item on the wrong shop and it compared to more expensive elsewhere and took most of it back off me:(:(:mad::rotfl:.
Anyroad, it's Morries collection day/night tomorrow, so I'll go and get what I need for that. Better just sticking to the area I am expert in:D.
HTH someone else (the next post from me, soon, to appear, items recently price increased in T).:)0 -
Can i be added to the list please
