Bloomin Ts direct king size sleeping bag bargain I got last year wont fit on the top shelf of my airing cupboard as I have an over hanging wall in front of that shelf. Didn't think about that before I collected it from mum's. And have already packed the other shelves.
Will have to find some bargain king size bedding so I can finally use it. :rotfl:
Thought king size would be good idea for the winter months as Mr TS always wraps himself up in his sleep and I end up partially uncovered. Unfortunately in the summer months I end up with more than my fair share and get far too hot.
Can't you use one of those bags that have the air sucked out of them? Many a mickle makes a muckle.0 -
Jacobs crackers and jc for lunch.
It's a very mse day!:money:0 -
Ts pleaded guilty, £300k fine - no surprise to any of us as we have all noted items arriving on half price offers that were only just instore and would be a ridiculous price if you paid the supposed full price.
We all know areas in the big stores where random items are on display away from where they should be (and not where they normally have promo stock) at a very high price (preparing for an offer later) or different pack size prices rising and falling to switch offers round. All of the supermarkets play this game, this time Ts was caught out by an observant customer.
If Trading Standards looked deeper into this they would uncover more - though no doubt in most cases they are abiding by the letter, but not the spirit, of the law. If they want some ideas, try Celebrations, Roses etc tins at Christmas, dishwasher tablets, Walkers multipack crisps ...

exactly !
I noted the loreal shampoo. 3 for 2 then went to full RRP 4.49 per bottle then to half price. then to £2 , Taking the preverbial or what ! I of course got it for free but all these muggles are paying whatever it is on shelf.
On that note, I am making my family use up all the shampoo I have before I get anymore. No more of their favourite flavour each carp sitting round the bath !!! :eek:0 -

I have exactly the same problem, and OH still manages to pinch the quilt even after I've converted everything to king size!!:eek:What is this life if, full of care, we have no time to stand and stare0 -

I have a theory that they're all in collusion with each other anyway. You can see from the likes of Dr O and the J20 that one supermarket starts the offer, then it swaps to another one for a few weeks, then on to the next one. Many a mickle makes a muckle.0 -
Do we know whether anyone has tried the JCS at Tvs A ? For those having stock issues ??0

Can't you use one of those bags that have the air sucked out of them?
It is already packed very tightly as brand new. It is just too thick to get it up there beacuse it is rolled, you know how new duvets come, I think if it was a slightly different shape I could squeeze it up. But no way am I opening it at the moment to have loads of duvet spill out. It is very annoying as the shelf is actually plenty big enough.
It will fit on the next shelf down I will just have to move things around. I am annoyed with myself for not thinking about it before I started repacking the airing cupboard.0
