Have got everything crossed today that DD2 will manage to catch the mega bus back from Newcastle ok.
At least this time if it goes wrong she is old enough to sort it out having debit card etc herself. Last time she was 16 and her friend 15 and us mums had to sort it out from this end.
Last time it was a bit of theirs and mega bus's fault, them for not checking online which stop they should catch it from and when still time to catch it being told by phoning mega bus it was where they got off which it wasn't. Hour of phone calls before us mums were told it had left on time from a different stop.0 -

in the past glitches like this..........it will say 3 out of your 5 items have been shipped and they were always the gift sets and free stuff................the cards come later, but they only ever seem to send you 1 card untill you call them up and they always send the other cards.........blank may I add........so you can have birthdays all year round, january is a great time to have a birthday:D .0 -
Another day and blood pressure already sky high. oldest sis has an old schoolfriend staying who stayed at home with her ( at mums) before they flew out. now she is flying back this afternoon and sis has invited her to stay at mums tonight (BUT SIS NOT COMING WITH HER SHE IS OFF TO SICILY ON ANOTHER HOLIDAY). she did not ask mum or me and Mum is coming home from respite this morning. she nor i need someone we only met again after 40 years staying on her 1st night home. she is understandbly nervuous about being home and younger sis and i said we would stay tonight with her.
her friend does not fly till 1.00 but she refuses to disinvite her.
if it was up to me mum would have stayed another week in respite but as usual everyone said what they thought. however mum was walking quite well on her own yesterday and is getting in and out of bed on her own. i am only going to be positive about things now and she will be on 3 care visits now and social worker says we can go to 4 if need be.
anyway enough about stress are jc still working as i may make a sneaky visit when i go to see my diet counsellor this afternoon. i think i have lost another 4-5 lbs making about 19lb over 4 weeks. hoorah at least something is going right. its odd but the diet seems to be the only thing i can control. seriously thinking about becoming a counsellor when i reach target. Must get back to housework as i spent most of the day gardening yesterday and the good thing about this diet is it gives you loads of energy.
under 4 weeks to ds wedding so excited.
Rose I am speechless, I really cannot believe the insensitivity of your sister.0 -
Morning mad squad, is anyone expecting JC results anytime soon?
TIAI do try to keep up but sometimes life gets in the way.
I'm just a penny short of a pound. Peace and Love.
I've joined the 5:2 club cos mrT made me eat 1p chocolate.0 -

which gift sets did you order?
oh I see it was the pamper set...............they probs didn`t have many of these as I think these tend to be collections of things which are getting discontinued or repackaged.0 -
fairclaire wrote: »I promised someone (?) last night that I'd post DS2s list if top 10 achievements from primary school. Well here they are
1. In year 6 I left home for the first time on my own. I shared a room for the first time with other people. There were no computers or televisions. I didn't really like it, but I achieved a whole weekend if it.
2. I achieved 2 weeks out of 6 of an extra curricular club in year 3. It was a cookery club. I attended weeks 2 and 6, flapjacks and pizza. They were cooking things I don't like on the other weeks
3. I tried school dinners for the first time in year 4. I only like them on a Friday but it was still an achievement because my Mum wanted me try it and I did. I had school dinner on a Friday only since then.
4. October year 4. The first time I got changed for PE on my own. My personal best time reached 14 minutes by the end of year 6
5. I always managed to get to school at 8.45 am on every day of primary school. I was never early and I was never late
6. I was given the job of school bell ringer in year 6. I really liked my job. I could make sure that everyone lined up on time. The previous bell ringers were sometimes early or late
7. I have managed to complete my whole 7 years at primary school without ever having a poo at school.
8. I danced with Mrs xxxxxx at the Christmas party. Not really an achievement but she thinks it was because I don't dance except at home.
9. In year 2 I sat in a green chair. I hate green so it was an achievement to sit on it. No one knew where my chair was and then it just turned up the next day. I did cry, but I still sat on it so it counts.
10. I saw Mrs xxxxxxxx's password to the school network and logged into her account from home. I didn't think it would work from home but it did because we live close and get the signal. My mum had to go into school and talk to them. I think it's an achievement as not many kids can do that.
No mention of what I really call his achievements. The real tough stuff he's overcome. That's all in his stride. I love this
Love it, my sons both would defo say no 7, they run in and go straight to the loo, will never go at school !!!!!!!
Can I ask how many mullers are people buying now?????0
