fairclaire wrote: »I promised someone (?) last night that I'd post DS2s list if top 10 achievements from primary school. Well here they are
1. In year 6 I left home for the first time on my own. I shared a room for the first time with other people. There were no computers or televisions. I didn't really like it, but I achieved a whole weekend if it.
2. I achieved 2 weeks out of 6 of an extra curricular club in year 3. It was a cookery club. I attended weeks 2 and 6, flapjacks and pizza. They were cooking things I don't like on the other weeks
3. I tried school dinners for the first time in year 4. I only like them on a Friday but it was still an achievement because my Mum wanted me try it and I did. I had school dinner on a Friday only since then.
4. October year 4. The first time I got changed for PE on my own. My personal best time reached 14 minutes by the end of year 6
5. I always managed to get to school at 8.45 am on every day of primary school. I was never early and I was never late
6. I was given the job of school bell ringer in year 6. I really liked my job. I could make sure that everyone lined up on time. The previous bell ringers were sometimes early or late
7. I have managed to complete my whole 7 years at primary school without ever having a poo at school.
8. I danced with Mrs xxxxxx at the Christmas party. Not really an achievement but she thinks it was because I don't dance except at home.
9. In year 2 I sat in a green chair. I hate green so it was an achievement to sit on it. No one knew where my chair was and then it just turned up the next day. I did cry, but I still sat on it so it counts.
10. I saw Mrs xxxxxxxx's password to the school network and logged into her account from home. I didn't think it would work from home but it did because we live close and get the signal. My mum had to go into school and talk to them. I think it's an achievement as not many kids can do that.
No mention of what I really call his achievements. The real tough stuff he's overcome. That's all in his stride. I love this
Oh, Bless him! Yep no 7 is the best but the others are very touching. Thanks for sharing - can't wait for the book. Kindle?0 -

2 x J2O, 1 x McCain Jackets, 4 x Shloer, 10 x Jaffas. No fillers.
Total spend after MOCs- £19.50. APG - £14. Paid with wombles, 46p cash.
Can you post your results from the screen to see if i should go out. i have fed and mown 3 lawns, changed a bed and got washing on. So can i go?0 -
GC opportunity? It appears A's CBY Ham & Cheese Tortellini (300g) have risen from 50p to £1.50.
Also SP 10 Cheese Slices have gone up from 54p to 59p - only 6p back if SEL says 54p - but then £2.00 GC on top so making it very very worthwhile!:D:D Cheese Slices could be a filler vs W. As for the CBY Ham & Cheese Tortellini, I did nominally have that vs W at n/a - but I wouldn't advise risking it (unless and until we are sure and someone can report it as returning N/A on the W side of one of their wombles/comps.) as it may return vs W at more expensive price.
Good luck shopping!:)0 -

No one is ever allowed to touch anything until it has produced it's APG.
Not that I ever take anything back just a little superstition of mine.:rotfl:
LOL I usually stick by that rule too, I made DH wait for the clicksnap cashback to be confirmed before I let him eat the free phileas fogg crisps recently :rotfl:
But today there's more people in the house (DS has girlfriend over and extra family members) so I caved in. I think she must think we're mad because we picked her up at Ts and then swung by As on the way home just to grab JCs :rotfl:
I figured if it doesn't work, you win some, you lose some. We've been super strict on the shopping recently so even if it doesn't work it's probably cost me £6 odd and we still get to eat themHistoric Debt August 2009 = £63,600 10th March 2017 = £0 100% paid all gone!
Mortgage started June 2015 = £170,000 January 2022 = £134,000
Saving for Xmas 2022= . . Amazon £55

Dont worry I realised by looking at MYS that mccains jackets and schloer you are getting with moc's. think I will give the jc a miss and get on with things at home. then pop out later to morrisons, tesco and waitrose for woopsie time. then pop to hospital , see Mum and try to do some ebay as it has been an expensive week bills wise0
