Hello everyone! I have not been here for a while due to working long hours. (We are actually having a reasonable summer!!)
I managed to go for some Jaffa Cakes today, (thanks OP) and found a small glitch which will work with the JC,s.
Asda tiger, long baguettes are 75p each or 2 for £1 but the multibuy doesn't show on the APG and compares to £1 at M.
2 x ASDA Tiger Tails Baguette (400g)£1.50£1.00
So 2 baguettes for 50p:):):)
Hello Squigs, I was wondering what had happened as I'd noticed you'd been absent for a long time. I should have realised that you'd be busy at work with the good weather we've been having and all those people strolling down the prom. Hope you are OK and that the dogs are all behaving and in good health.0 -

The only things that were bought were the grated ginger root and the soy sauce. My OH caught the sea bass yesterday and I grew the rest:T

That one womble - knew it was bad news immediately the "Great news!" thing appeared.
But...one of the multis on the receipt is fresh meat 3 for £10. And I can only find one item on the comp. that would fall within that - the Pork Loin Steak and it's comparing £4 vs £3.30 T.
The trigger item (of which they bought 2) - is some £4 chicken fillets (or at least they are called Chicken Fillets on the receipt) - bar code ends 4952709 on the receipt (there's one digit of course missing at the end) and you can add 50524 in front of that - it's obviously an A-own brand.

I don't know it works out as or whether they are any other items that would give a better return (I'm sure I'll be bound to have a look!).
Sat.night report ready for me to be able to use on a possible Sunday shop. That's good isn't? With my £11+ Morries APG voucher:rotfl:.
For those of you (outside of Northern Ireland) desperately wanting some cucumber - as opposed to sensibly changing your tastes this week to the Iceberg Lettuce, Celery and Savoy Cabbage (all on 50p in M but not yet known I believe whether all are picking up M's price - six minutes to wait folks for the Savoy Cabbage result on one of my shops - haven't bought Celery), here's the start of the Morries comp. on that shop (the cucumber is best at the mo. as the portion cucumber (you can always buy 2;)) vs Morries - not as good as the Whole ones vs T when T is on 50p (not at the moment, sadly) but best at the mo.):

Another near-miss - but thought I ought to let you know:cool::).0 -
Righto - I can confirm the following vs M:
The Savoy Cabbage is correctly comparing vs 50p on the APG:T. The SP Dark Chocolate Bars are also picking up M's bogof as they should. The SP Styling Gel (for what it's worth) is comparing 15p vs 15p for M. The BE Veg Nuggets (16) are working - A £2.00 vs M's £1.00, although that was all I bought, so I can't confirm whether any frozen item with them might operate as a trigger (or compare to M cheaper if it does appear).
The Nestle Rolos (not the desserts but the 4pack Rolo chocs) are comparing vs M's £1.00 (just so you know, so it's not that risky as it's £1.49 in A), and the Strawberry version of the 1L Yazoo (at least) is going vs M's £1.00.
Shame it's not all £0.01!:D:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
However:
The Dettol Power & Fresh (I tried Cherry & Pomegranate) is, indeed, a risk - it's returning N/A for M. So too are the fresh A's British Broad Beans 500g:( and the Barratt Dip Dab Sherbet Lollies (again). But then I knew it might not work, as this was my shop of risk items and N/As.
The SP Fish Fingers (10 pack) are 'safe' vs M though - as safe as anything gets with this thing!:D - they are comparing 60p vs 60p.
HTH.
To be reflected on the M list. When I get round to it:(:(.
But still - HTH!:D:):)
[Edit: and celery reported ok too:j:j:T:T Yes, yes:j - all three 50p items! Calm down - don't get too excited Savvy!:rotfl: You know; I don't think this APG thing is as risky as it sometimes seems from the few N/A items that we do see - they seem to pick up most things though. They're doing their best - but not enough for me! .....more 1p JCs please!:D] Of course, Celery to be reflected on the list as soon as I can (...which probably means tardily, next week:(:(:(:rotfl:).
Oh - I've still got more £1.12 Boursins to put onto the M list. They do have more than the one that's currently on there (can't guarantee that that, or the others I'll eventually add, hopefully tonight, after I've lain down and relaxed for a while - just needing it after my shopping today - can't guarantee any of them will compare to M's price, but it's perhaps quite likely they will - they're doing their best;):). Aren't they?:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::mad::()0 -
Savvy...
Lamb steaks vs Tesco were on a receipt of mine the other day with the N/A Chicken fillets ... They compared nicely giving an APG.
Perhaps you may know the currents price in Tesco.
