It's 17.3 miles from my house, so won't be much further for you. As BQ said, there's a Waitrose and from what I recall just lots of fashion shops. I could tie it in with a shop at Mr A's at Fulwood for jaffas though on the return journey. Just googled the Capitol Centre and there's more shops there than I remembered:

    ooooh, a GAP outlet, that's tempting :)

I would not have either  *shudder*

This has reminded me of something that DS2 wrote in his achievement book when he left primary school last month. I only just had a proper look through all his stuff last week. They were asked to write a list of their top 10 achievements in their time at school. To be honest, about half the list made me :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

    But my favourite was no.7

    7. I have managed to complete my whole 7 years at primary school without ever having a poo at school.

    :eek::eek::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

If its not too personal, you might as well post the list :rotfl:

Mmnnnnn  Mind you, I prefer an Irish whiskey to a Scotch whisky, and not a fan of american bourbon/rye whiskey :rotfl:
Now I like good whisk[STRIKE]E[/STRIKE]y but i also like a good bourbon. Many a night lost with a bottle of Caol Ila on the bar after time ;)

  • Thanks to whoever posted about the curry deals. Was out of milk & bread (hate Tesco bread & shelves almost bare so just got a cheapie for toast tomorrow) & Tescos is nearest, although a 10mile round-trip. I had a £3 till spit that I probably wouldn't have used & a £2 chefs + a rustlers £1 off. I probably didn't need the 10p sweets but better safe than sorry!

Actual money spend £17.94 & got £10 back - should have seen assistants eyes :) She said she'd never seen such a big one!

Might go up and do it all again tomorrow, or soon, as I got another £3 till spit off £20. Not a bad return! They must want me back shopping there!

NOT the greatest things for you but 'it's food' and tastes OK, especially if you can't be bothered to cook or haven't the time/energy.

Maybe one day soon we'll have some 'PROPER' food on a glitch? We can live in hope!

:rotfl: now I really want to know what else he wrote :D

When's that book being released :D

I will look it out tomorrow, I can't remember them all. It's really a useful insight into what he classes as an achievement as opposed to what I would :)

For instance his 26 star of the week certificates and 12 head teachers challenge awards don't even feature :)

whats wrong with the parking there?? P & T

I went when it was January sale time and it was murder to park and it then took a good half hour to get off the car park later. I think it was due to the design of the car park and the way you all join an exit road that goes round the perimeter of the shopping centre. This then leads to one set of traffic lights that gives priority to traffic on the main road and not to vehicles exiting the shopping centre. You can come and collect me tomorrow and be my chauffeur if you're not too busy. I'm sure FC and me could sit on the rear seats sipping champagne whilst you drive. :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
