    Afternoon all

Anyone have any BS orders dispatched/received around the order no. 6883 region? I ordered around 11pm on Wednesday - still awaiting dispatch and I'm getting anxious as I ordered two of the £40 pamper sets and they are nowhere to be seen on the website anymore!! :rotfl:

Also, does anyone happen to have handy the b/c for the Galaxy? Haven't gone searching for it yet but fancy a trip to A on way home and if there is cheap chocolate to be had, then I'm a-having it :p

My orders (ending 07395 + 07537) say they've been dispatched (had both emails at 9.15 last night although ups aren't tracking them yet)

    J2o attempted trouting story :D

SA: you can only use one of these (j2o) in a transaction
Me: where does it say that?
Sa: (scrutinizing MOC). It doesn't. Its just store policy
Me: ok. Do them separately then :p

I then put cash back in my pocket and bring out debit card. (Fixed cost per transaction of about 20/30p cost to tosco as opposed to credit cards which have a out a 2% of total charge)

So first transaction goes like this

    SA :thats 7p
Me: have you added a green CC point?
Sa adds point (grudgingly), I hand over debit card
SA: i thought you had cash
    Me: i do
SA: why are you paying by card?
Me: do you have a policy covering minimum debit card charge?
    SA: i don't think so
Me: then i would like to pay by card

    After 2 transactions like this

SA: i'll just put them through together
Me: no. Don't do that. I don't want you breaking store policy. Do them all separately

i hope she's on again tomorrow :rotfl:

This one is going in my 'Hints and Tips' OneNote!

Perfect result on a one per transaction trouting! Congrats! :T

In the absence of any decent deals on Mullers for the forseeable Sainsbobs have got the 4 packs of Greek Cherry ones for £1...seemed an OK price although not what we are used to!

Sainsbobs also have a Taste the Difference mature cheddar 400g block for £1.99 which seems a not too bad price either.

Not to me though, I prefer free...:D

Oh aren't the Jungle Dogs teeny tiny?

I just came on to say the same about the yogs :)

They also had the mini iPad covers for about £1.50 ish- I stopped paying attention when I saw they didn't have the ones I wanted. They did have lots of 7 inch tablet covers for between £1-£2

I got an in car charger for iPhone/iPad too for £3.59, down from £11.99 and some head for the Colgate brushes- they are (apparently) reduced o £4.75 for a pack of 4, and on 3 for 2 as well, so 12 new toothbrush heads for £9.50

Might be of use to someone :)

    Thanks for the answers :D
I'm thinking as I have a 4 drawer already I'll be able to rotate the stuff from the chest freezer into that (I would say I'd keep a list of what's in it but I know that'd only last for about a week :rotfl:)

Yes but what a palaver lol. Start out with good intentions that might fall by the wayside especially in winter. Imagine going to the garage to find what you want, rooting round, gale blowing or snow etc where as much quicker with drawers.

Just my opinion of course :o. My indesit half and half was £260 had been £400 apparently. It s also a frost free freezer. Just got bottles and cans in the fridge part. Hth

I have just ordered the Hotpoint FZFM171G Tall Freezer for my Mum from Curry's for £347 inc del. It's very simmilar to my own, which is very good - 7 pull out drawers and has been fine in my garage.

She has finally got an electric socket in her garage after 48 years in the house :rotfl:

Not happy with Curry's though, said it was in-stock for delivery from manufacture when orderdered, but just rang them and have been told not available until 9th Sept. I am very    am am just about to look if anywhere else has for similar price.

I've had a similar Hotpoint and it's well over 10 years old now. The only problem I've had with it is the Christmas Turkey as it's always too big to fit in there. We end up having to take out the bottom drawer and wedge it in there.
