J2o attempted trouting story
SA: you can only use one of these (j2o) in a transaction
Me: where does it say that?
Sa: (scrutinizing MOC). It doesn't. Its just store policy
Me: ok. Do them separately then
I then put cash back in my pocket and bring out debit card. (Fixed cost per transaction of about 20/30p cost to tosco as opposed to credit cards which have a out a 2% of total charge)
So first transaction goes like this
SA :thats 7p
Me: have you added a green CC point?
Sa adds point (grudgingly), I hand over debit card
SA: i thought you had cash
Me: i do
SA: why are you paying by card?
Me: do you have a policy covering minimum debit card charge?
SA: i don't think so
Me: then i would like to pay by card
After 2 transactions like this
SA: i'll just put them through together
Me: no. Don't do that. I don't want you breaking store policy. Do them all separately
i hope she's on again tomorrow :rotfl:

I'm beginning to think you live in some sort of time warp aau.
For a while now all the things you post pics of have long gone in my stores. First mention they are rtc and I know I have seen them I toodle along but no longer there maybe they are being transported in time back to yours.

Can anyone on here help? I'm looking for a lightweight (aluminium preferably) self propelled wheelchair for my hubby - about 20stone! EEK! At the moment we've hired one from Red Cross but it's too heavy for me to get in & out of car - arthritis.
Anyone know where you can get ones that are maybe discontinued?
I know at one time I had a link for Argos - when you could look up old, old stock and sometimes find in stores near you. When previous computer hard drive stopped I lost all my links - anyone help?
Does anyone know of a good 2nd hand place in SE Wales?
Busy & tired so would appreciate a PM if anyone can help.0 -

Savvybuyer wrote: »Hi there - Morries do stock a similar, small Cathedral City Mature Grated Cheddar, but I'm afraid it'll now have to wait nearly another week for me to get the details:(:o:o. The reason is this is not on a particularly good offer price in M, that it's the 350g sizes, not the smaller ones, that with A's usual 2 for £5 on them, have had potential for glitchability and to work out way better in price (or lack thereof!:D). For what you get, £2.38 (or even 10% off it if that could be possible) for just 180g is very poor in my view. Therefore I've been walking past such a poor price every time. I did think, yesterday, about writing down the price of some Grated cheese - not this one - because I thought I haven't got any Grated ones on my list and perhaps it would be useful to add one on (if it compared best vs Morries) but in the event I felt the prices weren't that good.
I'll look more at the grated cheeses next time.:o:o:)
[Edit: just seen it's looks like A is down to £2 now on the 350g Cath Cities:(:(:( - possibly because M's offer of £2.14 has caused A to bring its price down - and continues now to be marked as a 'savvy buy':( of course.] Avoid! It's way too expensive at this supposed-to-be 'savvy' buy price.
It's okay, Savvy. I thought I'd have to actually BUY the cheese to get the coupon within for McCain's Jackets. Turned out it was a peelable label on the packThanks anyway.
