Morning all
Thanks for all of the Birthday wishes
Had to have a little giggle at Tiger's posts this morning :rotfl:
Happy Birthday to you too aau
Congratulations fairclaire for your DS. You must be super proud
Had a weird morning so far. Broadband not been working and my quick fix of restarting hub didn't work  Finally seems to be working after being off for half hour
Had a meeting with the Home Start manager and she has recommended social services involvement. Got to get over my own association with that phrase from work.
Got some lovely presents. New coupon wallet 'customised' by the little onesChocs and perfume (who'd have guessed
), Moulton Brown goodies, flowers delivered and some money
DH has also surpassed expectations and has arranged for the 2 of us to go for the Harry Potter studio tour in a couple of weeks :j Can't wait, I'm such a HP geek
HP tour is awesome! If you get there early, and they are quiet, they will let you in early, so it is worth going before your time. And be prepared to lie about it being your birthday (you'll see why) for an extra treat.
It is split in two parts, and once you leave the first you cant go back, so make sure you have seen it all. The first part is better IMO.
They will also let you stay all day, so make the most of it.
If you want to save some money then they encourage you to take your own food/drink so pack a picnic if you dont like paying steep prices. But if your buying Butterbeer, if you go for the cheap option you dont get a souvenir mug, so IMO it is worth paying more.
The gift shop is pricy as well, but there are loads of things in it, wands are pushing £30 each and most of the bits are from The Noble Collection on amazon etc. so you browse beforehand.
It is a bit more like a museum, so be prepared for that, but take a camera as you will have loads of photo opportunities.
Hope this helps, sorry to go on so long!0 -
