Dip dap they better not be size 4. I'm going through enough and trying desperately to potty train eldest. Even bribing him with his own slide and swing set. But no his too scared to do his poo.
I know it's not the healthiest thing to do but i bribed DS with a malteser each time he did something on the potty/toilet. It worked. Then i just moved the goalposts to every other time etc.

The other granny paid £800 for my grandson's silvercross pram and he's hardly ever out in it. Because she uses the car a lot and the pram is so big and awkward, it's actually hard to get it into the car so my mum bought a cheaper tatty teddy buggy (still cost a small fortune) and he's in that all the time now.

I bought the cot for her and still think it was a ridiculous price but it's the one my DIL wanted. There was a toybox, a wardrobe, rocking chair and a "shelf" that come in the complete package that I just refused to get as it amounted to £900 for those four items. The shelf was £80 :eek::eek: £80 for a plank of wood!
I'd be eek-ing at that price too!!!?! Being pregnant doesn't mean you lose brain cells, it just means they temporarily disappear and get caught up with your hormones :p:rotfl::rotfl: I haven't half become ditzy since having children....

Hmmm good idea, don't give him choices. He has too muh energy for no sugar in his diet. Ill see what I can do. Doesn't help that he practically gets a new toy every week. God they are spoilt.,cant help myself. My mum deprived me of toys and bought me books. I use to go to my cousins house to play with Barrie's. hmmm ill talk to hubby about the maltesers. Lol or I'm going to give him some very very small amount of stuff that makes his poo very soft. Last time he kept it in and was crying at night cause he wanted to do a poo. Even though he had a nappy on for bed time. I think one poo in potty will be the end of the fear. Ahh boys so slow at everything,

You said you paid 22p but it compared at 50p.

Do you mean it showed as having cost you 50p in A and did that compare against 50p in T? That would give you 5p APG per jar.

10 would give you 50p back so you'd only get a couple of jars free if you were paying 22p a pop

And that's if I'm understanding you correctly in the first place :o

Tweets, what exactly was the apple and apricot? I'm looking on MyS. I wonder if it went through the til at 22p each, but the discount of 10 for £6 kicks in or if you get overcharged. 10 x 22p, plus the trigger at 79p plus a 99p jar that compares to £1.09 would total less than £4. Wonder what the til would see

Mine are spoilt too... but i gave tigercub a wooden spoon and plastic pot the other day and she was happy as larry banging away making "music" :j I always said they'd not have too many toys, yeah right... Both nana's keep buying stuff and i can't refuse.

Mine also went through a phase of holding it in and he stank to high heaven, despite me asking if he needed the loo he would say no!!! We just let him get on with it, increased his fresh fruit and veg and water. I didn't force getting rid of night time nappies either.. he voluntarily asked for no nappy a few weeks ago (he's 4 end of Sept) and has been dry at night ever since.... just after I'd bought 4 packs of night time pull ups wouldn't you know!! :rotfl:
