    Morning all

tru 9 more blueberries than I've got on mine :D

redruby glad your legs improving , don't overdo it x

Up early today, got the 3rd load on the line , cleaned the kitchen , although it has since been trashed by the DDs making breakfast

MIL came yesterday for tea and brought a top that needed altering , I've spent a good part of the morning altering it , dd1 has modelled it and it seems ok , sewing isn't my strong point .

Lemon sole for lunch as MIL brought a pack that needs eating , will add chicken to it as there are 4 of us and 2 pieces of sole and dd1 hates fish , picked some courgettes from the garden so will do roasted veg with it

Have a good ay everyone xx

MIA yesterday because it was dniece's wedding, she looked lovely and her new hubby is a great lad, he didn't run when the going got tough with her cancer like many others would he is a real gem.
Taking MIL to Barton water mill this afternoon, so I really must get myself in gear.

Dinner tonight is roast beef, new potatoes, home grown runner beans, carrots, peas and Yorkshire puddings with the last of the raspberries made into an Eton mess.

tru I cover my fruit bushes with old net curtains, that helps a lot, DH is going to build me a fruit cage next year.

I am getting lots of runner beans and french beans at the moment so I have been busy freezing them. I might try salting some in a jar because I have so many.
Blessed are the cracked for they are the ones that let in the light

    Afternoon :)

Just a quick pop in, have done food shop for week, decided to commence packing, lawn to cut and two very stinky dogs to wash :eek: I have tried ketchup (having already given them a rise over) but a full on proper wash is in order. Not what I really needed today but hey ho. Least it's dry and sunny!

No idea about tea as I haven't thought that far ahead. I really ought to get off iPad and get on with stuff now shopping has been put away.

Later peeps, sorry not got time to reply individually :o
Check back later x hugs and spoons all round x

For some obscure reason, the Site isn't allowing me to reply to a pm - so Chrisca50 if you're reading, thank you for thinking of me.

Didn't even turn the netbook on yesterday; I was all out of spoons, after we picked and jammed 5 lb of blackcurrants. I'm still feeling utterly exhausted today; luckily Mr LW doesn't mind doing household tasks, and has really stepped up to the plate and done stuff I'd normally attempt to do.

    Afternoon All

LW - I have some spare spoons, on their way to you now.
Bitsy - That's an enormous task, if I ever sell I think I will just leave everything here!

Talking of house selling, had viewers this morning - wasn't quite sure how it went as they haven't even got theirs on the market but they came back with more of the family a few hours later!

DD has gone off to Sheffield to see her grandparents for a couple of days and I am resting! I have finished the book I was reading, the house is clean and tidy and will try to watch a film this afternoon without falling asleep!

    Take care. XX
