I recently upgraded from BT Broadband Basic to BT Total Broadband. I have attempted to uninstall the old BT Voyager ADSL Modem via Add/Remove programs, but can't seem to delete the last 0.14MB of it. I get an error message: "DSL Modem Driver, An installation support file could not be installed, The system canot find the file specified". I have 2 user accounts on my PC and everytime BT Total Broadband is lauched, the connection/login box for BT Broadband Basic appears - it's getting on my nerves. Can anyone help?

Try downloading and running Windows Installer Cleanup Utility, selecting the BT Voyager ADSL modem.
Also look in Device Manager under Modems and delete it there.0 -
Thanks, I've just tried both of those tips. However, the modem was not listed under Device Manager nor did it appear in the list with the Windows utility.
Any other suggestions?0 -
Have you tried removing it under safe mode (press F8 before windows starts)0
