Hi, I telephoned NRAM to try and claimback mis-sold PPI. I was not asked any questions only the policy numbers (which I had obtained by phoning Pinnicle). I was told that I would hear soon. After 4 weeks I heard nothing so I telephoned and was told that head office were looking at my complaint and to wait 8 weeks from the first phonecall. After 8 weeks I telephoned again, only to be told that head office had no record of my complaint. I was told by the lady that I spoke to that she would email head office and that I had to wait another 8 weeks - still no questions as to why I thought the PPI was mis-sold. I have now emailed customer services at NRAM stating why I felt PPI was mis-sold. Has anyone else encountered this? Or is there anything else that I should do?

Did Northern Rock actually sell the PPI? A lot of their stuff was done via brokers/intermediaries.I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA). Hi thanks for replying. The PPI was through Pinnacle Insurance, but was arranged by Nothern Rock. I had 2 loans and definately remember being told by the sales person on the phone that I had to have PPI or the loan application would not be accepted, so I took out bronze (life insurance) only.0
