I have just installed an new Netgear DG834PN RangeMax MIMO-G Wireless ADSL Modem Router for my friends and all went well in that I got it connected.
It then told me to got to www.routerlogin.com but when I got there I cant see where to login into my new router...just seems to be a NETGEAR Customer Support.... Can anyone point me in the right direction please ?
Thanks

it should pop up with a box to enter your username/password.
try 192.168.0.1 and see if the box pops up0 -
try 192.168.0.10

Try http://192.168.0.1 with the computer connected to the router by Ethernet cable and it should pop up a login box. User name is admin, password is password.0

If you have not yet configured the router ensure that DHCP is anabled on your wired network adaptor and connect it to the router
open intenet explorer or your chosen browser and enter 192.168.0.1 in the address bar and hit enter you should get the log in screen for the router.
the default username is admin and password is password

as I understand it the router is configured as it allowed access to the internet and allowed the laptop to be connected to it. Do by using a netgear disk just followed the instructions.
I just wanted to go into the router to hide the SSID and put mac address in the access list but couldnt get to the router. I will try the above address next time I go to their house...thanks"The time is always right to do what is right"0
