Natwest or Paypal issue...

I usually transfer money from my Natwest account to Paypal and it appears literally instantly.

This morning i've done it and it isn't showing, no confirmation emails ...no nothing.

Is anyone else having issues ? I'd like to know which end is holding the money !

Check your balance in PayPal and list of activities. Anything show?


I just withdrew from Paypal to Natwest and it was instant. If still nothing, give it 2 hrs

it's quite possible that things take a lot longer at weekends since not all systems might be running.

If it's classed as a faster payment, by law it needs to arrive by the end of Monday.

I've done it before at the weekend and it has been instant, i've chatted to Natwest and they say there are no issues.

I've made a couple of fast Payments from Natwest this morning, which have been instant. I'd suspect Paypal

From their website -
Nowadays, we aim to withdraw money to your bank within 2 hours of you initiating it from your PayPal account. This is much faster than before.

However, our system delays a small amount of withdrawals for security reasons. These will usually take 21 hours to complete, a very small amount can take 72 hours. These will show as being “under review” in your PayPal account.
