NatWest DO seem to have changed how they do things a little, but not necessarily in the that would have affected the available balance to the OP.
Formerly, payments would go out of my account more quickly and the "Account Balance" and "Funds Available" figures (when checking online) would be the same. Nowadays, transactions are slower to 'go through', so that the "Account Balance" and "Funds Available" figures rarely tally. HOWEVER, I only pay attention to the "Funds Available" figure for that day, as that is what is available to me and I can't factor-in what may or may not happen with regard to future funding.
Bad luck OP - you might just have to chalk this one down to experience...0 -
