Black granite hearth

Ive just had an inset wood burner fitted with a chunky black granite hearth. I know that granite is durable but I would appreciate advice on keeping it clean and in good condition please.
Thank you!
Thank you!

Regardless of how hard it is, it will wear and scratch in a live fire scenario if you store fuel buckets or logs on the hearth.
It's a case of prevention being better than the cure.
Other than that just keep it clean and ash/dust free, it's very abrasive, and seal it say once per year with a suitable granite treatment.I like the thanks button, but ,please, an I agree button.
Will the grammar and spelling police respect I do make grammatical errors, and have carp spelling, no need to remind me.;)
Always expect the unexpected:eek:and then you won't be dissapointed0
