Morning All
Up and at it this morning, we have a viewer tomorrow, DD is presently sorting the room of doom! Actually not much to do elsewhere as we have been on holiday so not much mess made. Not sure why I am bothering, these are more viewers who haven't sold yet but pride makes me have it looking pristine!
Shopped yesterday in a few different places, DD ended up buying a bike in Decathl0n, not the sort she went for but saw sense in the end. We went for a little ride last night to test it.
Last night's tea was leftovers, tonight is salmon and veg. I have evening work at 7. DD is off to her grandparents tomorrow for a few days. DS2 phoned last night - he is back from working in oz.
Hugs to all those not up to par, take care. XX0 -
Morning everyone
Back from hols in Devon last night. I am tanned and also a bit pink in partsstill had several days in the beach, even got back on a bodyboard after 15 years :j
Now house is a tip, stuff to put away, mountain of washing to get through. Sometimes I wonder if the hassle of going away is sometimes worth it
In house moving news we don't have fixed date yet but still looking to be end of August. Which means I have 3 weeks to get rid of stuff we don't want and pack up the house  My bad back had better clear up ASAP then if I am going to be lugging stuff about.
No idea about tea but it won't involve chips, chicken or junk. Catering for DS on holiday is a mare as I don't have the space to cook from scratch and ready made stuff like pasta sauce etc he won't eat.
Hugs and spoons all round x
Hester really sorry to see you've been so poorly, I hope you're on the mend xxx
Tru agree about the wedding suit thing. It's a real bug bear of mine. If you're going to invite people to partake in you wedding but are going to dictate what they wear then you have to pay for it not the guest.I have a gift for enraging people, but if I ever bore you it'll be with a knifeLouise Brooks

Afternoon All,
Glitterkitty - why do you want people licking your porch? :rotfl:
Redruby - take it easy, you still need plenty of rest!
Luxor - glad you didn't recognise me, I was making my way home from Judi's!
Judi - you're not much of a hostess, did I bore you that much?
BitsyB - sounds like you had a lovely holiday.
Just recovering from minding two great nephews and a great niece, who were landed on us at short notice last night. My niece is a lovely girl, who works as a nurse, and she deserved a night out and she rarely asks us for any help. Normally the three of them together are a squabbling nightmare, but they were absolute angels for us. We played plenty of games with them and kept them occupied, obviously the trick from stopping them misbehaving.
So I am treating OH and I with a meal out and then going to our social club to see the guy we have booked for September for my retirement party.
Have a good day everyone :beer:0 -
Hello all x
Bitsy we are looking to move on the 22nd! Good luck x0 -
Afternoon all,
Usual busy Saturday with cleaning and washing and running around.
This afternoon I've sat going through our budget because I'm thinking of doing our DMP myself instead of through Step Change, it think it might be easier to throw extra money at this way.
Tonight we are out with my son and his gf.
Dh and ds3 have just done a survey for Moray and earned themselves a fiver each.:D
I'm planning on a listing day tomorrow on eBay. Will probably pop to the car boot in the morning.
Enjoy the rest of the day xStarted Self Managed DMP 10th May 2017.

Ha ha ha, I have to say I kept wanting either a chocolate milkshake or just a bar of chocolate the whole time I was painting!! It looks fab now though, just need to wait for the gloss to dry then i have some touch ups to do in corners etc.
having a massive fry up for tea followed by a huge banana split as a reward for all my hard work!the only debt left now is on credit cards! The evil loan has gone!! :j:j0 -
Judi - you're not much of a hostess, did I bore you that much?
Obviously.... and i'm going to shove that winking smiley where the sun don't shine one of these days._pale_
Bitsy its lovely to have you back. I'd start packing if I were you. Seriously, they haven't given you much time to prepare to move have they? Personally, it would take longer than 3 weeks to pack hubbys shed/s before we start on the house. This is a system account and does not represent a real person. I was talking to neighbour about the same thing and she said start now. Am starting to feel a bit panicked and overwhelmed at how much there is to do:o
